SWZ purchases 64 rental apartments in Zwolle from Bouwinvest
Wiepke van Erp Taalman Kip, managing director of SWZ:. “This is a valuable addition to our portfolio. We are actively looking into how we can house even more house seekers with a narrow budget in Zwolle. The acquisition of properties from institutional investors, such as Bouwinvest, is a good example of this.” Michiel de Bruine, Director Dutch Residential Investments at Bouwinvest: “For me, it is a plus that the properties have been purchased by a housing association. There is a great need for social rental housing in the Netherlands, also in Zwolle. It’s great that we can contribute to this with the sale of these properties.” Jens van Hasenbroek, director directeur at Capital Value: “There are currently many opportunities for housing associations to purchase existing property. The ambition to expand the stock is high. By purchasing existing property, housing associations can realise expansion in the short term.”
