Capital Value, specialist in the residential investment market, is expanding its services again. In addition to transaction guidance, valuation and research services, asset management will now also be added to its list of services. Just as with valuations, asset management will be run independently from transactions entirely and will be part of a separate entity that will be managed from a new office of Capital Value in Amsterdam. Clemens van Vuurde has been appointed as Director of Capital Value Asset Management.
Capital Value expands its services with asset management
Clemens was previously responsible for international residential investors and the new-build department within Capital Value. Arjan Peerboom will take on Clemens’ previous role in the new-build department. Esther Murk and Wimjan van de Wiel will be responsible for the international residential investors. Clemens van Vuurde, “In recent years, we have seen a stark rise in the number of international investors on the Dutch residential investment market. Though interest was previously focused on existing buildings, we see interest increasingly shifting to new-build developments. The demand for consultancy services with the purpose of entering the Dutch market continues to grow. Demand has arisen for a local asset manager who knows the market and has the network to build a Dutch portfolio. By establishing a specialist and independent team, I foresee that we can contribute to the entrance of new investors to the residential investment market.”
Marijn Snijders, Director Capital Value, “It is our focus to offer full-service consultancy services to the residential investment market. Due to current market conditions, it is a logical step to add asset management to our services. We have been working for international investors for several years now. Whereas in 2012 they only had a small segment of the market, their share in the annual transaction volume on the Dutch residential market has now grown to approximately 35%. It is this group in particular that is experiencing a great need for professional asset management in order to produce a successful return on their portfolio for the long term.”
