Archipel sells two residential properties in Eindhoven to Bouwinvest Healthcare Fund

News 7 Dec 2020

Archipel sold two residential properties (Warande and LeiLinde) in Eindhoven to Bouwinvest Healthcare Fund. Both properties were built in 2010 and comprise a total of 139 apartments located at Zorgcampus Zuiderpark and near a residential care location of Archipel. Capital Value advised Archipel on the transaction.

The 139 high-quality apartments are rented out in the mid-priced rental segment to independently living elderly people with a possible care demand. The properties are located in the Gestel district, in the southwest of Eindhoven. The Zuiderpark care campus has an important supporting function for the neighborhood due to its park-like, green layout and many facilities. The properties have energy labels A and B and will even be made more sustainable in the coming years. Manon Kuipers, residential investment adviser healthcare at Capital Value: “A growing number of healthcare institutions are seeking cooperation with investors. Future-proof homes and healthcare real estate are an interesting investment for investors. At the same time, healthcare institutions can use the resources for their primary processes. Archipel’s sale of two residential properties in Eindhoven to Bouwinvest is a good example of this.”
