Altera Vastgoed sells residential portfolio in Deurne, Eerbeek, Groesbeek and Malden

News 26 Aug 2021

Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed NV (hereinafter: Altera) has sold a residential portfolio consisting of four complexes with 151 homes to Daelmans Vastgoed. The complexes in the so-called Balthasar residential portfolio are located in Deurne, Eerbeek, Groesbeek and Malden.

Erwin Wessels, CIO Altera: “Altera’s residential portfolio is experiencing sustainable growth aimed at the wishes of all our stakeholders. With the sale of the portfolio, we are giving substance to our regional strategy and to a further rejuvenation of the portfolio. This is achieved not only through sales, but also through purchases. The most recent acquisitions in Amsterdam, Tilburg and The Hague are an example of this” Jeroen Gorissen, Portfolio manager Daelmans Vastgoed: “We are happy to be able to acquire this first residential portfolio of 2021. The portfolio consists of single-family homes in the mid-rental segment and was purchased partly because of the good quality and the ‘green’ energy labels. For example, 80% of homes have solar panels. The homes are a nice addition to the affordable product in our portfolio’.  Jens van Hasenbroek, residential adviser Capital Value: “The supply of existing homes in the current market is currently limited, while there is a lot of capital available for investments. Despite the increase in the transfer tax, we see that there is still a lot of demand for existing portfolios and that competitive bids are being made.”
